Charging is from the time the first guests arrive, should this be earlier than agreed, and the final account will show the detail. The hours are charged for, irrespective of other entertainment at the venue, for a minimum of 6 hours for weddings, and 5 hours for other functions of events, (before midnight). To confirm a booking we an emailed confirmation and deposit of R500.00, which is only applicable to the date booked, should your finalise a date and later change the booked date, the deposit will be lost.

The pricing quoted for a function’ caters for a guest number up to 120 in a function room or small marquee. Should you guest number increase above 120, or the marquee is of a large size, an additional charge will apply. This will cover the additional PA sound requirements. All final payments are to be made before the night should the closing time be known, or within 7 days of the function or event. This is to be by EFT only, unless otherwise agreed before the event.

Special packages are available should they be required. We can supply lighting shows, extra large PA systems (up to 2500 guests) or just for fun, we cater for live singers, live shows and what ever else you may need. We supply ceremony PA systems, with lapel mic’s etc. Talk to us, we believe in solutions.

Travel charges are as follows:
If the venue is more than 30km out side of Durban, there is an additional charge of R3per km (measured from Durban) return. If the venue is further than 1 hour traveling from Durban, the DJ requires the option of accommodation at the venue, or close by, at the client’s expense. This can either be arranged by us or added to the final account, or by you. The Dj is also to be included in the catering and non alcoholic drinks are for the wedding parties tab.  

PC sum charges for your budget are as follows:

A rate  R3 000.00 for the first 5 hours before midnight, thereafter R500.00 per hour or part thereof, until 2am, thereafter the Silverback Dj’s will charge as agreed by the client. The above rates are for budget purposes and may change accordingly.

For Jacuzzi bookings:

Silverback productions requires an electrical supply of 20AMPS for the use of the Jacuzzi with heater, this is up to the client to arrange. A Jacuzzi booking is final once booked; a 50% deposit is required for the Jacuzzi booking. The client is to insure the Jacuzzi fit into the required area where it is to be installed. Water is for the clients account, and supply of water is to be arranged by the client. Silverback Productions is only the supplier of the Jacuzzi, safety and general responsibility is on the client. The Jacuzzi has brandable side panels which can be customized. The proof for branding needs to be with Silverback Productions 14 Days before the date required. The Jacuzzi is used total at the client risk, Silverback Productions can’t be held liable for ANY loss damage or injury that may accrue while the Jacuzzi is being used by others. Should there be any misuse of the Jacuzzi while on hire, the repair costs will be for the client’s final account. Jacuzzi bookings cannot be cancelled on account of the weather; the full charge will be raise in these cases.

Hire Terms and Conditions:

Silverback Productions has a full hire fleet. For a dry hire, the goods are tested and taken as working. A call out fee of R350 applies to any call out with in 30KM of DBN, and a travel charge of R3/km thereafter. Silverback Productions offers a full set up hire service, we also offer the option of an on site sound technician at an additional charge. All hire is at the responsibility of the client. Any loss, misuse or damage that may accure during hire will be added to the final client account. (You break you pay) Smoke, snow and bubble machines are also available as dry hire, or as per above. Machine fluid is supplied in one liter amounts for smoke and bubble machines, and five liters for the snow machine. The option is available for additional fluid. All hired equipment is to be returned within 2 day of hire, if it is keep longer, either a collection fee will be charged, or the full per day charge will apply. The goods are to be returned as the left, working a clean.
